Crowded House
Don't Dream It's Over
There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're traveling with me
Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now, when the world comes in
They come, they come to build a wall between us
We know they won't win
Now I'm towing my car, there's a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion
But there's no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the T.V. page
Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and release
Don't let them win (Hey now, hey now)
(Hey now, hey now)
Hey now, hey now
Don't let them win (They come, they come)
Don't let them win (Hey now, hey now)
(Hey now, hey now)

"Rules are meant to be broken" What are you views on this issue?...
That's my topic for composition...
And i thought it was pretty fun to talk about...
To think that rules are usually implemented for the best of the 'players'...
So that things run smoothly with minimal glitch...
And to make sure law and order is enforced...
But to think about how breaking the rules have changed the world so much!...
Take example the biggest country in the world!...
Russia, they would not have been where they are now if they haven't broken the rules...
And pushed for revolutions after revolutions...
They would probably still be under the Tsar's...
Another example...
It is only when people break rules...
New and better rules will be implemented...
So it's usually for the better also!...
Even though the problem caused could be quite a hassle sometimes...

Food For Thought :
What are rules without people to obey them?...
What are rules without people to challenge them?...
